Yes, I am recording (still finishing the final chapters, in fact) an audiobook version of Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time.
Released on March 30, 2011, it's an absolutely free download! You can start downloading the free audiobook version of Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time now.
Some have asked me: Why free? Good question. According to the aggregator — Podiobooks, in this case — giving away an audiobook version actually stimulates eBook and print sales. We'll see.
Visit the detail page on the Podiobooks website. I guess the real reason I recorded the audiobook is that I like juggling a variety of activities, like approaching the same material from different angles. I don't worry about economies of scale or sales or marketing. I want my Kundalini experiences, and all the information I've processed while living with Kundalini, to be readily available. What's more, I don't want to repeat myself. That's why, at this moment, I feel I have one more Kundalini book. After that, who knows? If my being continues to evolve, that is, if Kundalini keeps adding new dimensions to my mortal being, something it's been doing for the last forty years, then, yes, I'll have new material. Something to add to my experience. Do I expect this will happen? I don't know. All I can say is each and every day the energy is hard at work, refining my brain and nervous system. Is an essential change of being in the offing? Stay tuned.
For the present, I am finishing the audiobook and working on a number of other projects:
- A yoga video series featuring Anna Tzanova,
- A multimedia IPad eBook on the spiritual aspects of basketball,
- A photography blog and website featuring my galleries,
- A long form Podcast on author Ben Willemsen.
- A futuristic novel, featuring a Drug Cartel takeover of the US foiled by a one-eyed Kundalini adept. Lots of beautiful women and current trends projected into the future.
In the meantime, a word about Podiobooks and the wonderful service they provide, "The term podiobook was coined by Evo Terra to describe serialized audiobooks which are distributed via RSS, much like a podcast. Listeners to Podiobooks.com can choose to receive the episodes of their books via an RSS feed or by listening to episodes by directly downloading episodes from this site. Some listeners keep the audio files on their computers, some transfer the book to CD, but most transfer the file on to their MP3 player so they can listen no matter where they are.
"Why are authors making these versions available for free? Many authors do this to get exposure for their work, others do it in the hopes you'll buy a physical copy of their current or perhaps next work in development. Still others simply do it for the sheer joy of writing. And while it's not required, you have the option to donate money to the author of your choice. When you consider that audio books run usually twice as much as their hardcover counterparts... we hope you'll be generous. Authors receive 75% of all the proceeds from the donations from listeners. The smaller portion goes to the maintenance and upkeep of Podiobooks.com."
